Green TagsThe record label that originally signed Nirvana, has become the first record label to offset it's power costs with renewable energy. They purchased enough Green Tags to cover their impact on the climate through their power usage. The president of the label had this to say:

"I was, quite frankly, shocked by how easy it is to support renewable energy. Green Tags are a simple way for anyone to choose wind energy, which, in turn, lowers dependence on burning fossils fuels for energy" [Jambase]

Anyone can purchase Green Tags to greenify their power usage. Just visit http://www.GreenTagsUSA.org

You can purchase tags in 99% Wind / 1% Solar for $20, or 90% Wind / 10% Solar for $24 USD.

Fox News This is rich… Fox news is at it again with their always creative and usually disturbing methods to advance their far right agenda. God help us if environmental conservation and sustainability take hold among the American public. In the words of the CEI.org people, 'What would our lives be like then?" Unless you're an oil executive or the leader of a country in the Middle East, I think your life would be much better.

Bush DisasterBush has been talking a lot lately about the US addiction to oil. He touts homegrown alternative fuel sources as a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, when asked if he will see Al Gore's new movie An Inconvenient Truth, he replied that he 'doubts it'. It's good to know the leader of the free world is capable of considering an argument that disagrees with his gut, oh wait, no he isn't.
