240+ Plant Species Flowered In Netherlands This December

Netherland Wildflowers Bloom EarlyRecord breaking temperatures in the Netherlands this Autumn has resulted in a strange phenomenon. Hundreds of wild and cultivated species of flowers have begun blooming months later than normal. Also noted was that leaf fall occured two-three weeks later than normal this year as compared with the average during the first half of the 20th Century.

So not all global warming effects are bad, but it is a disturbing sign of the current state of affairs.
