154 MW Solar Energy Plant To Be World’s Largest

Solar power plantAustralia will build the world's largest solar power plant in Victoria.  The government is contributing roughly $57 million USD toward the project. The rest of the money will come from private sources. The official government justification for the project is that in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence of global warming, the government feels a need to shift it's energy policies towards greener alternatives.
