Using global warming to your (drinking) advantage

A small micro-brewery in Greenland is producing a beer with some of the purest water available. The water comes from the melting greenland ice cap and is said to be completely free of contaminants and at least 2,000 years old.
It's good to know that someone's putting that melt water to good use.

Gov. George Pataki has signed a bill that prohibits gasoline distributers from requiring 'exclusivity' contracts with their customers. Until now, gas station owners have been bound by contracts requiring them to buy their gas only from one distributer. If a gas station wanted to offer alternative fuels but their distributer didn't sell them they would be out of luck. Now gas stations across New York State will have a choice to offer fuel from whatever distributer they like.
Tony Blair and Arnold Schwarzenegger have agreed to a vollunatary partnership to share ideas on climate change. Without consulting with the White House, they agreed to work together to come up with a strategy to curb carbon emissions.
The record label that originally signed Nirvana, has become the first record label to offset it's power costs with renewable energy. They purchased enough Green Tags to cover their impact on the climate through their power usage. The president of the label had this to say:
