TreeHugger: 4 Stages of Global Warming Denial

Nile RiverThe good folks at TreeHugger took the time to illustrate the 4 stages of denial of global warming, and once again it's not just a river in Egypt. I can think of at least a few examples of people who can't decide whether they're on the first and second stage (e.g. CEI.org).

The last stage of denial is certainly the truth. The people that will suffer most from a clean energy revolution are the one's running dirty industries. Yet, only if they're too resistant to change. The scary thing is if the worst effects of global warming are realized, these big polluters will take us all down with them all in the name of their bottom line.

With these guys making unprecedented profits and receiving unprecedented compensation, is it any wonder they resist change?
