Low emission vehicle? Try a zero emission vehicle

Honda FCXSo you think hybrids are nice because they reduce harmful emissions, but how would you feel about a zero-emissions vehicle. Honda is working on a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle which, get this, will be released by the end of the year. The car looks like a small civic hatchback and is called the FCX. It will use hydrogen to generate electricity through the use of a fuel cell which in-turn drives the car's electric motor. To solve the problem of refueling the thing, Honda will sell a home generator which will convert Natural Gas into hydrogen.

I'm sad to see the Honda Insight go; after all, it did get the hybrid car market going. Though, I'm very happy to see that Honda is leading the pack once again with a car that gets us that much closer to a long-term solution to our oil addiction.
