Technology exists to stop global warming today

It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise but students at Princeton University have identified 15 existing technologies that can freeze greenhouse gas emissions at today's levels for at least the next 50 years. The best part is that these technologies can be put into use today. They figure that:
"implementing the measures would likely generate economic benefits, including creating new industries, reducing the U.S. dependence on foreign oil and lessening the need for other pollution-control expenses associated with burning coal and other fossil fuels."
The only question now is what's holding us back? I can think of a few names.
