Bush: Al Gore’s movie has too much reality in it

Bush has been talking a lot lately about the US addiction to oil. He touts homegrown alternative fuel sources as a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, when asked if he will see Al Gore's new movie An Inconvenient Truth, he replied that he 'doubts it'. It's good to know the leader of the free world is capable of considering an argument that disagrees with his gut, oh wait, no he isn't.
In my humble opinion, our Commander in Chief lives in an alternate reality of his (and his close friends) creation. He seems threatened by anything that challenges his authority and seems pretty much incapable of changing his mind on any issue, regardless of the ramifications of his positions. I feel good knowing GWB has everything under control.

Bush’s alternative reality includes the belief that coal is an alternative fuel. The largest chunk of money in his energy initiative is for “clean coal.” And coal is not clean… it may be cleaner than before, but it is still not clean.
Jeff Goodell has a new book coming out on the topic called “Big Coal.” It is worth a read. For more info, see http://talkguests.com/jeffgoodell.htm

I’ll check it out… thanks for the recommendation. As for the clean coal B.S., it’s an oxymoron touted by a moron.
